ROPER WEST ASHLEY CANCER CENTER is a new 70,000 square feet state-of-the-art cancer treatment center located on the campus of Roper/St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Charleston, SC. The HVAC installation consists of variable air volume packaged rooftop units with medium pressure duct systems and single-duct and fan-powered terminal units, a 100% outside air unit serving the linear accelerator clinic, a series of Liebert split air-conditioning systems and variable refrigerant flow systems providing heating, cooling and humidity control to sensitive control and communication rooms. Incorporated into the HVAC System is a process chilled water system used in cooling the linear accelerator. Morelli completed our scope of work in eleven months.
